Laura Linney
Laura Linney is an American actress, who is well-known for her portrayal of vulnerable, but strong character. Linney was born into an theatre-loving family, with her father, Romulus Linney writing plays. In 1986, she received her degree in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started the beginning of her Broadway career. Her work was highly praised, including her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
