Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last year of junior high school. Her brothers include Gregory, her older brother, and Evan. It was her first position within the business. It was her first job between the ages of nine and sixteen. The beginning of her acting career was in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of the techniques of Sanford Meisner alongside Ron Stetson for three years.
