Singer was born on November 26, 1986, in Santa Monica California. She is the daughter her father Vincenzo Barba and mother Valerie Barba. At the age of six, her family and moved to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Her education was completed at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. She then attended Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's diploma in architecture. As a violinist from the age of 4"Violingirl" was her nickname. It was because of her talents that she was referred to under the title Violin Girl. Her neighborhood kids were also taught violin playing by her. Later at the age of nineteen, she appeared on the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. The singer was subsequently eliminated the show after she finished 16th place. She has sung several songs like 2009's "The Christmas Song' and The 2010's Out for Blood. Additionally, she was a guest in some television shows including Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American after she was a contestant on American Idol's 6th season. The singer began her career on film following her expulsion from American Idol in six seasons. This is why she's played minor roles in films and also competed in Fear Factor's season in 2012. As per Daily Mail reports on November 21 2019 she was sentenced nearly four years of prison time for collaborating to distribute the drug fentanyl. The artist pleaded guilty possessing more than 400 grams of Fentanyl in the intention to distribute it in July. In the month of October, she was caught trying to transport around two pounds of drug from the Virginia stash house to another.
